Description
An ancient scroll or tome authored by — or associated with — a great lich. The exact nature of the text is not yet known to the party.
Griggen named it as the ultimate objective of Mythrades's world-eating operation: beyond spreading the Blight, beyond collecting souls, Mythrades is looking for this specific document.
"He is ultimately looking for a particular scroll from a great lich, and it's called the Lexicon of the Sepulcher. Something along those lines."
What the Party Knows
- Mythrades is looking for it across worlds
- The last known location of this scroll was the piece of knowledge sold at the Heiress's auction
- The Shadowvar who won that knowledge at the auction sent it (via the killed Mythrades clone) to the Evernight Mythrades on his death
- The Evernight Mythrades now knows where the Lexicon of the Sepulcher is
- The party may also know — they were at the auction, they saw what was auctioned. The question is whether they retained the content. (Greg, decide: did the party absorb the location-knowledge from the auction, or was the scroll just sold to the Shadovar without the party reading it?)
