Apothecary's Gilded Duck-Pattern Apron
Type: Wearable — acid-resistant work apron Material: Gilded fabric (presumably enchanted; functions like acid-proof / immune to acid stain) Adornment: Duck-pattern — gilded, repeated, deliberate Carrier (current): AC (equipped session 021) Origin: Belonged to the Leilon apothecary who died in the Leilon Silver Mine bug attack First Recovered: Session 021
Description
A gilded apron with a duck-pattern adornment. Functionally: acid does not stick to it. Ubys tested it on the spot — beetle-acid splash failed to stain or burn. He passed it to AC as the party member most reliably caught in melee splash range.
Mechanical Effect (Inferred)
- Acid resistance / immunity — at minimum, the wearer takes no damage from beetle-acid blood-splash on melee strikes. (See session 020's bug-acid mechanic — every melee hit on a beetle pays back ~3 DMG to the striker.)
- Aesthetic: the apron is visibly distinctive — gilded, duck-patterned. Not subtle.
