Description
A huge bugbear — not concealed, not masked, here for the weapons. Carries himself with the easy confidence of a king-tier highwayman who can afford to bid in this room. Travels with several lackeys.
What the Party Knows (Session 034)
- Stood in the open at the auction — not cloaked, not masked, visibly the buyer of record for the Dessarin lot.
- Was greeted by The Drow with the Eyepatch with a low foppish bow — some prior acquaintance is implied.
- Was offered the adamantium long-sword as a demonstration by Alondriel the Empty King (who arrived on an ancient blue Dragon and was about to demonstrate the blade on a goblin until a Shadowvar interrupted with "remember the pact"). Grol weighed the sword and registered it as adamantium — lighter and stronger than any steel he'd handled.
- Won the auction for the Dessarin weapons-contract. Bidding cleared after the Drow withdrew following a quiet conversation with him.
- Departed by Dragon. Alondriel's blue Dragon descended onto the ruined castle's roof, scooped Grol and his contract up, and flew.
