What the Party Knows
- Session Zero: The erratic rule of Alondrial the (Empty King) destabilized the Dessarin Valley. Trade from the valley diminished; bandit kings, orc warlords, and monstrous horrors filled the vacuum.
- Sessions 029+ (per player notes references): Moist's parents are confirmed trapped or enslaved by Alondriel — possibly in Rivergard Keep.
- Session 015 (Teppo's journal): Alondriel — a vanished tyrant. Plus notes on Goldenfelds adamantium weapons flooding the Dessarin market — during or after his reign.
- Session 034 — first on-screen. Arrived at the Heiress's auction on an ancient blue Dragon — lightning-bolt entry; Dragon perched on the ruined castle's roof. Levitated down through the auction's wall-of-force globe (and dried on entry, like every other guest). Helmeted in shining armor; no facial features visible. He brokered the Dessarin-Valley adamantium weapons-contract for sale at the auction — grabbed a goblin to demonstrate the long-sword on, was stopped by a Shadowvar invoking "remember the pact," and handed the sword over to be displayed instead. King Grol won the contract; Alondriel's Dragon descended, scooped Grol up, and flew.
- Session 034 — the pact. Alondriel and the Shadowvar are bound by a pact. (Strong implication of a Netherese-revival or non-aggression treaty; full terms TBD; see Shadowvar DM Notes.)
- Session 034 — the Dragon. Per Ubys's recall of the Saga of the Dragon Lance, the blue Dragon may be the same blue Dragon (or a successor / kin) that set up Tiamat's revival in the Well of Dragons during the heroes-of-the-Lance era. The Dragon is very old, ancient-class.
