What the Party Knows

  • Ubys is a Shadar-Kai. Confirmed by direct experience — the Harpers' ward at the Druid Grove of Lynx bars him specifically.
  • The slaying of Bahamut during (or shortly after) the Second War of the Lance involved Shadar-Kai. The post-Bahamut wards are the response.
  • The Shadar-Kai's canonical patron is The Raven Queen — the same patron who beckoned Ubys into the campaign and continues to mission him. (Heritage and patronage point in the same direction.)
