What the Party Knows
- An ancient paladin order operating out of Summit Hall in the Dessarin Valley. The DM describes them as "a force for good" — not flashy or prominent, but real.
- Participated (in a minor capacity) in the Second War of the Lance. Referenced in the ballads and tales of that era; KeYs has a passing familiarity with the name from his training.
- Three of their members died in Westbridge during the catastrophe that destroyed the town 80 years ago. A small shrine outside the ruins commemorates them. The DM suggested these knights probably venerated Bahamut given the era.
- Six knights (led by Captain Hezar Chun) rode through the night to Westbridge after seeing the party's battle with Umsheryoth from a distance. They arrived at dawn and offered to help.
- Pledged to include Westbridge in their patrol routes and to notify the party of gnoll or hellish incursion activity.
- Broadly supportive of the Westbridge resettlement project. Skeptical of using such a taboo site, but the party's actions — curing a blighted dragon, driving off gnolls, partnering with the Silmerhelves — bought credibility.
