Description
Black robes so complete that nothing showed — not hands, not face — only the faintest glimpse of brownish feathers at the edge of the hood and the suggestion of a beak in the dark.
They did not sit. They stood in the corner of the library when the party entered. They did not introduce themselves. They said nothing for the entire session until the soul-trace ceremony produced the vision of the Evernight soul-lab — and then, in a voice like a distant cry:
"It has been foretold. And it is written."
That is all they said. The room went dark immediately after, and the Raven Queen arrived.
(The name "The Chronicler" is a stub-assigned designation. Their actual name has not been given on-screen.)
