What the Party Knows
- Somewhere beneath the ruins of Westbridge (and/or the surrounding hills), accessible via one or more of four entrances, is a great underground forge of considerable antiquity.
- This forge is connected to the Second War of the Lance — legend holds that the dragonlances used to fell Takhisis were forged here. The scale and magic required for that work required a specific set of legendary tools/components operating together.
- The required components to operate the forge at full capacity are known in legend: a Belt of Giant Strength, a Hammer of Thunderbolts, an unspecified chisel of legendary quality, and possibly other items. These were used together to shape the dragonlances. Their current whereabouts are unknown to the party.
- Last the party heard (via KeYs's player's recollection), at least some of these items — the belt and hammer — were donned by Dunkel Spireward at some point during the earlier part of the campaign. Current ownership unclear.
- The forge's condition is unknown. It may be sealed, partially collapsed, dormant, or intact.
