What the Party Knows
- Once a thriving trade hub. Trade has diminished since Alondriel's erratic reign — the valley has been overrun by bandit kings, orc warlords, and monstrous horrors.
- The Knights of Samular are based in the valley at Summit Hall — an ancient paladin order of mounted knights (barded horses), loosely tied to the Order of the Gauntlet, fighting the evils that plague the land including the tyranny of the River Keep. (The griffin and bird-of-prey riders are the separate Feathergale Spire order under Dunkel Spireward — earlier notes wrongly merged the two and placed the Knights at "Feathergale Tower." Corrected per INC-005/INC-006.)
- Per Teppo's journal (session 015): Goldenfelds poured into the Dessarin Valley — flooding the market with masterwork weapons made of mithril or adamantium.
- Moist's parents are reportedly trapped here (in Alondriel's dungeon — possibly Rivergard Keep per session 035 plot hooks).
