What the Party Knows
- A manor house in the Dessarin Valley, near the ruins of Westbridge. It was the Silmerhelve family's estate in the region — a minor noble seat, known locally as such.
- When Westbridge fell roughly fifty years ago, Olref Silmerhelve came south to Waterdeep and the house was abandoned. It was used briefly as a hunting lodge, then left entirely.
- Condition: Olref described it as being in poor shape — vegetation has overtaken parts of the structure. Whether it's salvageable without significant work is unknown. The party has not yet seen it.
- Grant: Olref Silmerhelve has granted the party full use of the manor and surrounding lands. It is intended as the operational base for the Westbridge refugee settlement project.
- Bronze dragon history. When Olref was a child, the house was cared for by a bronze dragon — a personal friend of his. The dragon left when the war came and never returned. The party doesn't know what became of him.
- Surrounding lands: Agricultural land in a fertile valley — the reason Westbridge existed and the reason the refugee settlement project is viable.
