His death allowed the party and 77 Brookside survivors to pass through. The "RIP Auryn" memorial appearing in session primers from Session 055 through Session 064 refers to this sacrifice. What the Party Knows
- He was part of Crowley's original Brookside group. One of the four survivors.
- He is a Raven Queen hexblade warlock. Ubys was immediately interested in this — a Raven Queen warlock who has been living in a pocket of the Abyss for two years, cut off from material-plane divine connections. How does his patron connection work here? Has he maintained his warlock pact? Has the Raven Queen spoken to him?
- He hung back at the reunion. He did not come forward to greet or confront Crowley. He was in the shadows. His disposition is reserved; whether that's caution, grief, or something else is unclear.
- He may have tried to use Banishment. In-table discussion suggested Orin experimented with planar-travel spells during the years trapped here, trying to find ways out. His hexblade abilities may have grown considerably in the time since the prior campaign.
