- One of the two Waterdeep nobles killed by the Chasme Drone in Session 055.
- Emmith learned (Persuasion 22) that Garrett's family came from Waterdeep's aerial riding club culture — wealthy families who keep flying mounts for leisure and countryside touring. Garrett went further than anyone in his family expected (joining the Feathergale Knights), and they never understood it. His death is viewed as validation of their skepticism, not as meaningful sacrifice.
- His family was disgusted by the vulture-rider traditions at the Spire — specifically by the cliff-face burial and by what they assumed was a vulture-feeding practice. They were vocally relieved that his body arrived intact.
