What the Party Knows
- One of two protective bubbles in the pocket plane. Leigha's divine power radiates as two distinct protective fields — one centered on this chapel, one on the forest survivor camp. The World Eater and the gnolls cannot enter either bubble.
- Leigha is inside, on the altar. She is unconscious — lying in what appears to be a deep, enchanted sleep. Her presence is the source of the bubble's protection; she is, in effect, powering the sanctuary through her dormant divine nature.
- The chapel building is intact amid general ruin. The brook runs nearby and a mill structure is visible — the landscape of Crowley's childhood Bakersfield is recognizable but damaged.
- Nimri Greyflame is sheltering here. The dwarven cleric has been here for two years, writing Create Food and Water scrolls to feed the survivors in both bubbles. He recognized Crowley immediately.
- Shaylin operates as a scout between the chapel bubble and the forest camp bubble, moving through the dangerous exterior zone to carry supplies and information.
- The bubble rules: Entering the bubble requires passing through the radius of protection — the gnolls and the World Eater are repelled at the boundary. The party was able to walk in. Whether this is because they are not hostile to Leigha's intent, or for another reason, is not explicit.
- Every hour outside the bubble costs a DC 15 Con save or a level of exhaustion. The Abyssal environment of the pocket plane is hostile to mortal life.
