What the Party Knows
- One of two protective bubbles in the pocket plane. Leigha's dormant divine power radiates two fields. This is the forest-side bubble — a clearing within the pocket plane's surviving woodland, where survivors congregate around what passes for civilization.
- The camp holds the surviving Brookside community. Most residents are from the prior Brookside game's continuity. The four key survivors the party reunited with here: Emmith, Theravos, Josh Huckler, and Orin.
- Josh Huckler has built a crude tavern here. Benches, some vessels standing in for drinks, a semblance of hospitality. The social center of the camp — Josh always wanted to run a tavern, and this is what he made in the ruins of an Abyssal pocket plane.
- The camp is tense. Two years of confinement in an Abyssal plane, with the World Eater consuming the world outside and gnoll patrols ranging the exterior, has left the survivors frayed. Theravos's confrontational reception of Crowley is a symptom of the broader camp mood.
- Supplies come from the chapel bubble via Shaylin. Nimri Greyflame writes Create Food and Water scrolls at the Brookside Chapel; Shaylin carries them through the danger zone between the two bubbles.
- Zago cannot enter the bubble. He communicated with the party at the bubble's edge. Survivors and party can speak to him from just inside the perimeter.
- The World Eater and gnolls cannot enter. Both bubbles are maintained as long as Leigha's divine field holds.
