Rat Queen Chamber

The Rat Queen is dead; the chamber's coin and magic items are recovered; the Netherese Portal in the far corner is dormant and untouched.
Layout
- Entry corridor — from the Maw Chamber's left hole, with tracks visible in and out.
- Central chamber — open floor, dozens of rats present in baseline state.
- The obsidian spike — at the chamber's heart, the Rat Queen was impaled on it. Spike remains intact post-fight.
- Four corner passages — the four Giant Rats emerged from these.
- Upper passages — Stirges flew from these in two waves of four.
- The far corner — the Netherese Portal — dormant, visible, untouched by the party in this session.
What the Party Knows
- The chamber was the Rat Queen's coordinated defensive zone. Her sounds drew Giant Rats from corners and Stirges from above. Her death emptied the chamber.
- The chamber's coin and items, recovered post-fight: ~1,752 GP-equivalent in coin (1,096 CP / 1,415 SP / 674 GP / 96 PP); 10 × 100-GP gemstones; Bracers of Defense; Wand of Magic Missile; Potion of Frost Giant Strength.
- The portal is the chamber's most significant feature — dormant, framed, visible. The Tablet's portal-reference foreshadowed this finding.
- The chamber sits directly below the Black Spire Chamber (per the "Womb of the Worm-Spire" session title) — the spire-grid's seed-room relationship to the upper anchor is implied.
- Three robed bodies lie in front of the portal — see The Three Robed Bodies. Per session-032 investigation: members of the Grey-Robed Order, killed by the Rat Queen before her own binding. The Grey-Flame Torch and 6 Grey-Flame Candles were recovered. The Blight avoids the bodies. Ubys Decomposed them in reverence at session-032's close.
