Mythrades escaped dungeon custody, opened a Dark Gate, drove/killed 30+ town guards. Titus was away when it happened; returned to a sealed building. Waiting for Knights of Tyr reinforcements. Gave the party the armory key in Session 063. His Holy Avenger is now held by KeYs (retrieved from the tower stone after Mazros's banishment). Description
A second-chapter Knights of Vindictus paladin — heavy plate, oath-bound, rides a Griffon named Ladre. Worships Tyr. Sees-and-tells: distinguished the party at the cliff fight — "the fight's with those two" (Ubys + AC) — and "I sense the good in you other two" (Lessie / KeYs / Moist / Dhuxtyn).
What the Party Knows
- Session 025 (the Cliff Fight):
- Mounted on Ladre at a cliff-top negotiation east of Saltmarsh.
- Was approached by Ubys (who teleported onto the Griffon mid-flight). The conversation failed; combat erupted.
- Leapt off Ladre to attack Ubys — Round 1: 11 + 13 + 16 radiant DMG via longsword, +9 self-DMG on the prone landing.
- Round 2: took 12 DMG from AC's mark-and-stab; refused to retreat further; granted mercy with the line "Let Ladre go or this ends in death."
- Flew off after AC released the Griffon.
- Session 026 (the Tower):
- Found face down at the KoV tower in Leilon — pinned through with his own sword, alive, gurgling blood.
- Briefed the party between mouthfuls of blood: "Destroy the circle. The Scribe was responsible."
- Refuses to free Mazros the Cursed Baron — even as the dawn tortures the bound devil.
- Session 027 (forward-context): Carried by Lessie and Moist to the Tyr Shrine in Leilon — near the Lathander Shrine. Survives.
